Yellow, Pink, & Purple Eyeliner

Today I knew what I wanted to wear, but it took me a little longer to decide on my eye makeup. I knew I didn't want something dark or something with neutral colours either & I wanted to use a new eyeshadow palette that had a few pink & purple eyeshadows. Soon I remembered a rainbow eyeliner picture by Ronnie from Bows & Curtseys that I saw on Pinterest & thought I'd do an inspired look using the colours of my outfit instead.

I wish I saw her video or went back & looked at the picture before doing my makeup though because I would have done these things differently:
  • Applied my eyeliner in a thin line after applying the eyeshadows. I usually tend to apply my eyeliner thick because it suits me better so I applied my eyeliner like I usually do & then did the coloured eyeshadow liner after that.
  • Used the eyeshadows wet because using a white base was not enough to make the colours pop the way I wanted them to.
  • Made sure that the eyeshadow line was sharp on top since my eyeshadow liner looks like it's blended a bit with the lid colour.

No big deal though... this just means that I'll have to try this method again!

I did a look inspired by the same picture as well! It's weird because I only used 3 colours too, lmao - great minds think alike ;)
